Dr. Allen Admire
Pastor
In October of 2023, First Baptist Church voted unanimously to call Dr. Allen Admire as its next pastor.
Allen served in the US Army, did a tour of duty in Vietnam where he received a Purple Heart. He was called into ministry in 1984 and licensed to preach in 1987. After serving multiple churches, he retired in 2015 and now lives in Burlington N.C. Since Retirement he has served as Interim and Intentional Interim pastor at to other churches since 2015.
Allen received his undergraduate degree from Campbell College, his master’s degree from Southeastern Seminary, and his Doctorate from Trinity University.
Allen has a great love for his family and those around him. He has been married to his precious wife Terri for 50 years.
Allen comes to First Baptist Church with the intention of strengthening the body of believers, building disciples, and setting the foundation for a growing church focused on the mission of sharing the gospel to the lost in Siler City and beyond.

Randy Johnson
Music Director
Mr. Randy Johnson began May 12, 2014, as our Music Director. Randy brings much musical background to the position. He began piano lessons in 1964 and organ lessons in 1968 and continued until 1979. He has taught private piano and organ lessons since 1978.
Randy graduated cum laude from Elon College with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education and earned a Master of Education degree from UNC-Greensboro. He also has Associate degrees from Central Carolina Community College in Applied Science in Mechanical Drafting and Design and Vocational Instruction.
A teaching career began in 1979 in Chatham County schools as Randy taught Elementary Music K-8 and 7-8 grades Choral Music at Bennett, J.S. Waters, and Bonlee and worked with Chatham Central Concert Choir with Polly Yow for many years. In 1994 he became Assistant Principal at Bonlee and from 1995-1999 Randy was Assistant Principal at Siler City Elementary from 1999-2006 he served as Principal. Randy began in 1968 as a Pianist/Organist at Siler City Pentecostal Holiness Church and was Music Director from 2007-2013.

Amanda Vickrey
Administrative Assistant
Amanda Vickrey is a graduate of William Peace University (A.A. Degree) and holds a Business Degree from the University of NC at Greensboro. She joined First Baptist in January 2013 as an administrative assistant. She is married to JJ Vickrey and has three children, Landon, Cole, and Addisyn. Amanda and her husband JJ reside in the Silk Hope Community and attend Sapling Ridge United Methodist Church. Her hobbies include interior decorating, cooking, badminton, doing activities with her children, and spending time with her family.
